Jennifer Warthan Photography Show
The Wakefield Foundation is pleased to present a photography show by Jennifer Warthan. The show opens Saturday, March 6, 2010, 7:00 pm in the gallery and will continue through March 28th. The show is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
Jennifer is a farm wife, a Mama, a photographer and she spends her days surrounded by crops, a lot of grease (of the bacon and the tractor variety), her four children and their animals.
"I photograph what I know. My camera is typically filled with images of sunrises, dusty fields, even dustier children and whatever we happen to be planting or harvesting at the time.
"Photography and family (both mine and yours) are a passion. As a portrait photographer, I do my best to capture those small details that make our families unique. As a nature and landscape photographer, I strive to show others the beauty and joy in the everyday scenes I am fortunate enough to call home."
I have lived in Wakefield and Waverly all my life and cherish being surrounded by family and friends, and I know I'm truly at home.
I will be giving away two free sessions with print packages on opening night. Please come out and enjoy the show.
